Low Country Hospitals Purchase Konica CRs from PRS

Greenville, South Carolina - November 2, 2005 - Three hospitals in the Low Country network have selected Konica CRs from Professional Radiology Solutions to meet their digital radiography needs.

"After examining CRs from a number of companies, we found that the Konica CRs best met our needs in terms of quality, capability, service, and price," said Bob Waters, CEO of Barnwell County Hospital. " Professional Radiology Solutions has been very responsive in helping us through our decision process. They, along with Konica, worked with us to ensure that the CR solution works for our hospital."

"We are very pleased to be able to help the Low Country hospitals," said Pam Robinette, General Manager of Professional Radiology Solutions of South Carolina. "We strive to deliver equipment and other radiology solutions that best meet the individual needs of our customers and that was certainly accomplished here."

Computed Radiography (CR) allows hospitals and other healthcare facilities to render digital x-rays, thereby reducing or eliminating their film and film-storage costs. By creating digital images, physicians are able to improve patient care by more easily sharing exams with patients and other treating physicians.
